Hundreds and thousands of prospective and eager buyers of Apple iPhone4 were left helpless yesterday when they tried ordering for their piece. The AT&T retail shops saw their online systems hanging due to which there was huge delay in completing the selling process.
So hundreds of customers were forced to stay in queue for hours before getting billed manually by the shops.
The company had problems with their online website systems and the error is likely to be rectified in the next few hours say experts.
This could be a stray event and it may not reduce the demand for the new Apple iPhone4 in any way, say experts.

Competition for iPhone 4 from Motorola
Motorola is already working on a competing product for the recently launched Apple iPhone4. The company is now planning to launch a new version of Android Phone with 2GHz processor.
The new product is in the developmental stage and might hit the market in two or three months time , if everything goes well. By then Apple would have already sold millions of the new Apple iPhone4 and would be ready to take on the competition through aggressive price cuts.
And given the excellent marketing skills and adaptability of Apple, we can only expect great times for the new phone buyers, as both the companies would be fighting tooth and nail to grab market share. There could be lot of special offers and price cuts from both the companies over the coming months.
So if you are planning to buy Apple iPhone4, it may be prudent to delay the purchase decision by few months, by when the competition should set in the category. Then there could either be price benefits or improved product features, both of which are good for the buyers.
The initial response to the Apple iPhone4 is overwhelming as usual, and the company is gearing up the production lines to launch the product in other key markets. As of now it is launched only in the US.
